Hello, I’m Jason.

 

I’m currently working as a professional stay at home girl dad,

while attempting to be an amateur woodworker making picture frames and other various items (a few birdhouses) out of my garage.

 

I’m a one man shop.

 

I’ve made enough of them and gotten enough praise from friends, family, neighbors, even the ladies at the grocery store in love with my daughter, to where I thought one day. Maybe. I can make enough of these in different styles to where someone out there may actually want to hang them on their wall or even maybe, possibly… want to buy one or two. #Goals.

 

I make my frames from mostly reclaimed or repurposed lumber (chopping up old dressers, tv stands, entertainment centers, etc as well as destroying numerous pallets). One of my neighbors recently even told me I’ve turned reclaiming lumber into an art form.

I will definitely take that one as a compliment!

It will never cease to amaze me at the amount of stuff, nice stuff even, that so many people are willing to throw away. I’ll find this stuff on a regular basis and turn it into something beautiful or at least try my best to do so haha.

 

I have a lot planned for this, although, I only have a few days a week to work on it so progress is slow but progress is definitely being made plus my wife and I are having our second baby due in… it’s June 6^th as I’m writing this.. 4 months away.
